GRR joins Prince's Trust to help unemployed young people into jobs
Richard Ash, CEO and founder of retail design agency, Green Room Retail (GRR) has joined youth charity The Prince’s Trust as a key supporter in the retail sector to help disadvantaged young people into jobs.
Richard will be taking a key role in the planning and organising of events in the retail sector, aiming to raise thousands for The Trust.
Richard comments: “We are extremely pleased to support The Prince’s Trust and in doing so, hope to give opportunity to those young people who need it most. This is a fantastic initiative, one of which we are particularly proud to be involved in.”
Naomi Edler, Head of Fundraising, Consumer & Innovation, The Prince’s Trust comments: “We are delighted to have Richard on board, his experience and understanding of the retail industry will help us to raise vital awareness of our cause. Young people have been hardest hit in the recession, so this support is more important than ever.”
As the UK’s leading youth charity, The Trust helps to change young lives through practical and financial support, developing skills as well as confidence and motivation. Since HRH The Prince of Wales founded the charity in 1976, it has helped over 600,000 young people across the UK and continues to support 100 more every working day. The youth charity needs to raise around £1 million every week to continue its vital work.
