Playground Power

Just caught a really interesting article about Children powering the national grid!

The plan is to "take the kinetic energy of children" to power the lighting (for example) at a brand new playground in Redruth, Cornwall.

The scheme will be co-designed by the local community and children.

We really like this idea - what a great bit of fresh green thinking!
