Green
Kulbir and methane...
The last week has been brilliant! I've been at the 'Go Green Week 2010' at Warwick University - it's the largest nationwide student-led environmental campaign.
Meeting and networking has been very rewarding - many of us shared our experiences and views on environmental issues.
The were also several workshops that proved invaluable, I learnt that our own personal diets have a large impact on global warming!
One interesting fact that I discovered was that according to the Food & Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations: livestock contribute more to global warming than transport! They produce 18% of all global greenhouse gas emissions'. Now that's got me thinking.
