DIAGEO appointed Green Room to design a global travel retail design template for the launch of Smirnoff Gold. The typical 10sqm space needed to showcase experiential activity from a brand perspective whilst also offer controlled sampling of the product from the bar incorporated into the display. The first of these branded travel retail spaces was implemented at Zurich airport as well as other airports around the world. Green Room focused on colour, texture, tone and theatre in order to create a showcase that looked and dynamic.
The space was praised for distinctive brand visibility and the sales supported this: Smirnoff Gold accounted for 10% of total vodka category sales at Geneva during its first two weeks on-shelf.
